We are pleased to inform you that since 9.10.2017 the New Chemical Syntheses Institute can use icon „HR Excellence in Research”, a quality mark awarded by the European Commission to institutions which provide stimulating and favourable work environment and which improve human resource policies i.e. committed to achieve fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures. The awarded logo is one of activities of The European Commission within so called Human Resources Strategy for Researchers.
HR Logo is a tool which EC want to use to:
- develop European Research Area,
- improve attractiveness of working conditions for researchers in UE,
- enhance mobility of European institutions’ reseach workers.
In September 2016 the Institure submitted application HR Strategy for INS Research Workers with a plan to adjust existing rules to be in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. After consultation with an assessors team of the HR Strategy application prepared by INS the European Commission decided on October 9-th 2017 to award logo „HR Excellence in Research” to the New Chemical Syntheses Institute in Puławy. In two years’ time INS will have to carry out internal review of its action plan in aligning with Charter and Code principles and in three years’ time it will be followed by an external assessment by EC experts who will take a decision about keeping the HR award.
