- The method involves the creation of oxygen-free pressure atmosphere (carbon dioxide) and use of the effect of fast atmosphere decompression. It is an alternative method to the disinfestation of plant raw materials with the application of poisonous chemical compounds (methyl bromide, phosphine, ethylene oxide and others).
- Process parameters:
- pressure: up to 20 bars,
- time of exposure: 1 ÷ 2 h,
- decompression rate: 5 bars/min.

Offer:
- license and the know-how
- basic and detailed engineering
- plant delivery
- staff training
Process description:

- Process parameters:
- pressure: up to 20 bars,
- time of exposure: 1 ÷ 2 h,
- decompression speed: 5 bars/min.
The process can be conducted periodically or continually in two autoclaves operating interchangeably. During decompressing of the first autoclave, the released gas is fed to the other autoclave to balance the pressure in both vessels and then, fresh gas is compressed into the second autoclave. The gas is taken from the liquid CO2 vessel and then vaporized. This process leads to the reduction in CO2 unit consumption almost by half.
